- At the bottom of the Contact List window, click Advanced Search.
- In the Advanced Search dialog box, click Options > Directory Settings.
- From the Directory menu, select Remove.
The system displays a confirmation dialog box.
- Click Yes.
The system removes the public directory from the directory service.
- Click OK.
